Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theatres next month and expectations are, understandably, high. Nowadays, the MCU can do precious little wrong and the latest blockbuster has added intrigue thanks to the character of Mysterio. Jake Gyllenhaal will be portraying Quintin Beck who, despite being a villain in the comics, appears to be on the side of Peter Parker and Nick Fury during the film’s trailer. What is going on? Spider-Man films have had some big villains over the years and Mysterio could be another one, should the MCU have a twist in store for us....

The writer, director, executive producer, and novelist followed up two seasons of Midwestern quirkiness and darkly comical violence on the Emmy-winning Fargo by turning his eye toward a trendy take on the world of superheroes. Actor Sung Kang reveals the mysterious return of his character in Fast and Furious 9 is directly tied to the franchise’s familial themes. The latest installment in the Fast and Furious saga brings Kang back as Han Lue for the first time since Furious 7. The character was introduced in a 2006 spin-off film, Tokyo Drift, which was later retconned to take place between parts 6 and 7. Han was killed at the end of Tokyo Drift, but the film’s producers wanted to bring him back for 2009’s Fast & Furious (the fourth film), resulting in the franchise’s unusual timeline....

The Rise of Skywalker is the final episode of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and marks an end to the Skywalker saga. Many were skeptical that the work iPhone at the centre of the San Bernardino controversy would prove in any way useful to the FBI given that the shooters left it untouched while destroying their personal phones, and so far that skepticism seems justified. Despite having had access to all the data on the phone for more than a week, the FBI has apparently not yet found anything of value. The FBI has decided it will not divulge the details of how it successfully hacked into the San Bernardino iPhone to Apple, having found a method at the last-minute just hours before going to court in late March. However, in an attempt to appear helpful and cooperative, the FBI gave Apple its first security tipoff under the Vulnerability Equities Process this month. Reuters reports the FBI informed Apple of a security flaw affecting iOS and Mac software on April 14th, as part of a process that balances the needs of law enforcement to hack devices and the needs of manufacturers to patch found flaws before criminals can use them …...

Fargo has come to be known for its fantastic writing and its most recent season is no exception. Fargo is soon set to return to FX for its third season.
