This guide tells you where and how to find each of the Far Cry 6 rides so you can not only ride in style but literally put the pedal to the metal. Once you find all of them, you’ll also get the Car Cry trophy (bronze) and achievement (15 Gamerscore).
Far Cry 6 Rides
Ride: Juan’s 1956 Beaumont Valentina
Early on, you’ll get the mission Fuel the Revolution from Juan. It’s part of the critical path main questline, so you won’t miss it. You’ll need to speak with Benito and complete their quest. Along the way, you’ll get the 1956 Beaumont Valentina to boogie around both the mission and Yara afterward.
Ride: Yami’s 2008 KAG TG
After arriving at Montero Farm, you’ll soon get the Yaran Story for Yami: Backseat Driver. The start point for this mission is in Madrugada, northwest of Montero Farm and across the street from Lenos Largos on the primary road.
This mission will take you to Aguas Lindas, so it’s good to get this mission out of the way before getting too far in the story and raising the rank requirement (unless you already have a good arsenal at your disposal, then whatever boats your float).
Just complete this mission by following the objectives and driving the KAG TG out of the FND Tank Training Grounds.
Ride: 1962 Verrazzano Bravo
Aside from Juan’s 1956 Beaumont Valentina and Yami’s 2008 KAG TG, the 1962 Verrazzano Bravo is perhaps the easiest ride to get in Far Cry 6. All you have to do is complete any Gran Premio Race. It doesn’t matter which one.
You’ll likely find your first poster, which you interact with to open various races around Yara, while exploring Costa Del Mar and Lozania while completing main quests.
There’s one poster in Serpentino Park, due west of Cortina Weather Station. It’s attached to a building with the sign Sendero Del Parque near the docks on the coast. This opens the International Waters Relay race in the southwestern portion of Costa Del Mar, just south of Cortina Peninsula. There’s another just beneath the two Ls in Fuego Valley (northwest Lozania) on the map. It’s on the stone sign by the tree in front of the gas station at the intersection (just southeast of De Francisca Ranch). This opens Biplane Blitz, just north of Palma Forest in Lozania. There’s one more just inside the gate at the Mercurio Mecanico hideout in Esperanza. It’s on the wall directly in front of you when you enter. This opens Malecon Miracle Mile in western Esperanza, south of Old Pueblo.
There are certainly other posters to find and races to unlock, but these were the ones I found by following the main questline in the first several hours.
Ride: 1985 Tokai Sabuku
For the 1985 Tokai Sabuku, go to the FND Storage Facility in Catalina Ridge, El Este. It’s northeast of the Catalina Ridge marker on the map, and north of the McKay Global Supply Depot and the lake above it.
Go around back when you arrive, and climb the excavator arm to get into the second story. Shoot the yellow boxes to make a path through the top and drop down. Get in the vehicle and the garage doors will open automatically. Now you’ve got the 1985 Tokai Sabuku, easy peasy.
How to Get New Exterior and Interior Colors, Cosmetics
Getting new colors for your rides isn’t the same as getting new colors and skins for your weapons. You won’t be using spray cans here. Instead, you’ll need to either bring a car of the desired color to a Pickup Point or scan the vehicle with your phone.
To scan with your phone, press up on the D-pad (or requisite key on PC) to bring it out. Stand a fair distance away from the vehicle, and you’ll see a white box appear around the vehicle with the word “scanning” in the left-hand corner. If you’ve already scanned a vehicle, a green checkmark will show up instead of a white box.
When you are done, the vehicle can be called at a Pickup Point, but you’ll also get the color if you don’t already have it, as well as certain cosmetics such as horns, which you can then use for your rides.
