FedEx Competitors
With its continuous growth, several courier services have also developed. These FedEx competitors are working to dominate the parcel delivery market. Despite the struggle, only one of the competitors has managed to defeat FedEx in its operations.
FedEx led the package tracking system which provides real-time updates on the actual location of a parcel.
Currently, there are many couriers some trying to outdo their founder FedEx.
Let’s talk about those in the front row with FedEx:
• United Parcel Services (UPS)

• TNT

It currently offers road and air delivery services to all parts of the world. It became a branch of FedEx in 2015 intending to expand its operations. Despite being FedEx’s branch, it still competes with FedEx in the distribution chain.
• DB Schenker
It is a division of Deutsche Bahn a German rail operator focusing on logistics. It was acquired in 2002 and deals in air, land, sea, and freight contracts. Deutsche Bahn also owns DB Cargo the largest cargo transporter in the United Kingdom.
In conclusion, FedEx is in the logistics, shipping, freight, and delivery sector and it has some competitors. The competitors can either be some of its sub-branches or other companies dealing in the same field with FedEx and offering similar services or a bit different to the company.
Despite the competition, FedEx is still among the top if not the leading parcel and freight delivery services. As we know for something to be significant it needs a bit of competition so that the firm can put its best foot forward. Therefore, the above companies are among the reasons why FedEx is ensuring the provision of quality services to us.
