FedEx Rewards (also called My FedEx Rewards) is a loyalty program that benefits its members for using its services. Not only does the program reward its members for their patronage; it also improves customer trust and ratings thus retaining old customers and attracting new ones. To benefit from this loyalty program, you have to get registered as a FedEx Rewards member which is slightly different from being just a customer. As a member, you are entitled to earning points for every valid shipment you make with FedEx, and as soon as you get registered as a FedEx Rewards member, you get 2,800 points as a welcome gift. Once you redeem your points, you are eligible for a reward. To become a FedEx Rewards member, you have to own a FedEx Rewards member account. 

How to Open a FedEx Rewards Member Account?

It is not necessary to have a FedEx account as a customer but to become a FedEx Rewards member, a FedEx account is required for registration. You can open an account online or by contacting FedEx customer service. To open an account online (if you don’t already have one) follow these few steps:

  1. Visit the official FedEx website 

  2. Fill out the form displayed, appropriately

  3. Click the submit button and wait for a confirmation email.

  1. Visit getrewards.fedex.com

  2. Click on the ‘sign up here’ button 

  3. Fill in your account number along with your zip code 

  4. Click on enroll.

How the FedEx Loyalty Program Works?

After setting up your member account, you will be required to accept or confirm your membership. Confirmation can be done through an email notification that will be sent to you or on the FedEx website. When confirmation is done, you can go ahead and start shipping. Remember, shipping has to be valid and complete to earn points. Always ensure that you use your My FedEx Rewards account to make shipping arrangements. You can then log in to your member account and redeem any reward of your choice (depending on its availability and the value of your points earned). Rewards vary from appliances to food, clothing, office supplies, gift cards, and much more. 

Both business and individual accounts are eligible for the FedEx loyalty program, provided they have been registered for the program. 

My FedEx Rewards Exclusive Offers

You become eligible for My FedEx Rewards exclusive offers once your member account is up and running. The exclusive offers are only available for a specified period. Login to your member account and click on the ‘offers’ page to check if exclusive offers are available and which ones are available to you. Exclusive offers are liable to change along with the terms and conditions. 

How Long Do My Points Last? 

Your points last for 2 years from the time you earned them. After this time, the points are said to be expired and can no longer be used to redeem rewards. 

Can My FedEx Rewards Points Be Redeemed? 

Your points can be redeemed before they expire (i.e within the 2 years). Keep in mind that your My FedEx Rewards account may be shut down if inactive for 18 months. To prevent this, complete a valid shipment and earn points. 

To redeem your points for rewards, log in to your member account, go to the rewards catalog and make your selection then add the items to your cart.

The time taken for rewards to get delivered to you depends on the item purchased. Tickets and experiences get shipped as soon as possible so you don’t miss the event. Other items may take up to 4 weeks or less. If the item is on backorder, delivery might take longer. 

  1. Can my order be canceled? 

All orders made are final and can not be canceled. Transactions are non-refundable and points will not be restored. 

  1. What if the item arrives damaged? 

If your order arrives damaged, contact the My FedEx Rewards customer service within 48 hours of receiving your order. For damaged gift cards, contact should be made within 90 days. For incorrect orders, contact should be made within 30 days. 

  1. Can I send my reward to someone else? 

Yes, your reward can be sent to someone else. To send your reward to someone else, you need to input all necessary details such as name, address, and phone number during the checkout process. The item, along with every other item in the same order (if any) will be delivered to the address you give.
